Lavender

This oil is known as the swiss army knife for its versatility. Although mostly known for its relaxing abilities, some people experience and energizing effect. Lavender's tissue regeneration and rapid skin recovery properties were first discovered by French chemist Rene Gatefosse when he accidentally burned his arm while working in his laboratory.

RELAX, MUSCLES

For a balancing environment at home or office that promotes mental accuracy and concentration. Diffuse when nervous tension. Apply topically to relax tired or tight muscles in your body. (Neck, back, shoulder, stomach, feet, heart) Inhale or diffuse to calm the mind and emotional state. Inhale to support normal heart rate, because the heart is a muscle too.

SLEEP AID

Diffuse at night to create a calming environment before sleep in every room. Apply on feet to support restful deep sleep faster. Add a drop to baby's bath to relax. Keep on the bed side to inhale from hands for occasional insomnia or mental restlessness. Note: In some people, Lavender may cause the opposite effect and feel more awake and alert. Observe your body's reaction.

BONDING, SECURITY

Massage your babies and young kids back or feet, diluting with V6 or coconut oil to create a loving bonding time. Whenever they smell this oil in the future, it will take them back to that precious moment giving them a sense of security and connection. The sense of smell anchors memories.

SKIN & HAIR

Think skin and hair. It is an excellent companion to facial cream and shampoos. Can be used as an after shave for men. Use diluted with a carrier oil, as it can be drying if used often directly on the skin. Use to cleanse, soothe and restore skin from minor cuts, scrapes, burns, sun or irritations, excess sebum and any other skin needs. Use on scalp for fuller hair.

WOMEN HEALTH

May soothe menstrual cramps and discomfort when applyed on lower abdomen, and may balance period flow. In pregnancy, inhaling may help relieve ocassional nausea.
